John turned 27 back on January 20th, and after a long week on the road, he just wanted a quiet dinner in.
I prepared a mussel pasta and ceasar salad.
This year he requested bread pudding over birthday cake. I made a whiskey sauce to go over it, which he liked, but it was too strong for me. It needed about half of the whiskey the recipe called for! I went good old vanilla ice cream.
I gifted him us with tickets to go see the Avett Brothers in Birmingham on St. Patrick's Day! Can.not.wait! It may get ridiculous, especially since we are going with Mark and Blair.
Happy Belated Birthday post, John! I love you and hope each year is better than the last!
