Backseat Gangstas
We took off to Sea Grove for a weekend back in March to let our hair down and work on our base. The ride felt like it lasted forever...above is how Brittany and I felt about crossing the state line and buying scratch off tickets.
Our casa for the weekend!
The weather was great and we had a total blast! Many thanks to the Stegalls for hosting us!
We did go swimming...I was forced into it. It was Brittany brow beating me to go under.
Cold beer and good jams...What more does a person need?
This was Landon, our cabana guy, and he was covered in tats. Much to mine and Brittany's dismay, he would not decifer their meaning to us. Not even 1, out of 50. We were bummed.
Dinner was here Saturday night. It was delicious!
Margaret and Trey joined us for dinner. It was wonderful to see them and congrats to them on their first baby due in late summer!
A Lila Graves painting in the bathroom...too cute!
The next morning was overcast, so after brunch at Broken Egg, Brittany and I thought we'd walk to the nail place across the street for pedicures. It was closed, so we just kept on walking. And wouldn't you know it-we kept right on walking all the way to Bud and Alley's.
John and George met us, as they feared we might get swooped up by 18 year olds.
We decided to give the Mind Eraser a try, as recommended by Trey the night before.
We actually made lots of videos. You might have received one from us that day.
Here's to keeping my toes in the sand this summer...til next time Florida!
