Get on Board...

With two things today:

I have not seen Crazy Heart, but it is on my To Do list.  Jeff Bridges is awesome though, and a great singer, and I love his song  "Fallin and Flyin."  Download it today!  Very folksy, I can't get it out of my head.  At art this week, Beth and her husband Alan played it on the guitar and sang it.  Now I am hooked.

 

Brittany turned me on to this.  I can't put it down--I bounded out of bed at 6am, on my alarm's first ring, mind you--made coffee and read 30 minutes before work.  It is about black house maids in the 60s in Mississippi and told from the view point of several different women.  I LOVE IT.  So read it, NOW!
