I'm kinda lost with this whole conversation because it has been a couple of days since i checked my email and i had like 828 emails from all of you in my box. nevertheless, i have one more thing to add to list of weird AC things..... why does everyone (esp lacey and bess) feel the need to grab some beverage for a trip in a car......i mean it could be across town or to the next state; you could be thirsty or already have to pee; either way, everyone gets a drink fro the road.....its bizarre.

DRINKS FOR THE ROAD:
In Alex City, drinking is a social past time, regardless of what you are drinking. It doesn't matter what you drink, but you have to DRINK SOMETHING. It can be water, Diet Coke, beer, wine, or coffee. We like to take a beverage on the road, regardless of the length of the trip, because we DO get thirsty and it also gives us something to do. We bond over the drink, perhaps even taken sips of the other person in the car's once ours is gone. Having to pee usually means for frequent stops and a chance to stretch our legs. I'm not sure why it is, but it just is. When we leave a restaurant, we often ask for a TO GO cup, to take whatever is left of our drink with us. This is mostly an unexplained character trait...I'm not sure where else to go with it at this point...
